Report: Browns hiring Vrabel as consultant

The Cleveland Browns are hiring former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel as a coaching and personnel consultant, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Field Yates report.

Vrabel was the Titans' head coach from 2018-2023, accumulating a 54-45 record. He was let go following a 6-11 finish in 2023.

The 48-year-old also led Tennessee to a 2-3 postseason record during his six seasons.

Vrabel was with the team during the combine before being brought on in an official capacity, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

He won Coach of the Year in 2021 after leading the Titans to a 12-5 finish and the AFC's No. 1 seed.
