The Seattle Seahawks are signing former Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker to a one-year, $7-million contract, his agents confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Seahawks are retooling their linebacker group after losing Jordyn Brooks to the Dolphins and Bobby Wagner to the Washington Commanders in free agency. Seattle signed former Buffalo Bills linebacker Tyrel Dodson on Thursday.
Miami released Baker prior to free agency after six seasons together.
The 27-year-old started 82 games for the Dolphins, recording 587 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks, and five interceptions.
He put up 78 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions last season.
