The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are among the teams keeping in touch with free-agent safety Jamal Adams, sources told Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
There's legitimate interest in a reunion between the Seahawks and Adams, who Seattle cut earlier this offseason, Condotta adds.
The veteran safety spent four years with the Seahawks after being acquired in a trade with the New York Jets prior to the 2020 season.
However, Adams played only 10 games over his final two campaigns in Seattle due to injuries.
The 28-year-old totaled two interceptions, 9.5 sacks, and 22 tackles for a loss with the Seahawks.
Players signed after 4 p.m. ET Monday don't count against the NFL's compensatory pick formula.
