Three-time Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Brown said Tuesday that he hopes to finish his NFL career as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles after recently signing a new deal with the team.

"I'm not saying (this contract is) the end - I'm not ready for it to be over with - but that's the goal," Brown added, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. "I think my career took off when I got here. Went to another level. It feels right. My family's right. My girl's starting school again here. Kids here. I got teammates, their kids, I want them to grow up together."

Brown, whose future was the subject of speculation last year, recently reset the market at his position by signing a three-year extension worth $96 million with $84 million guaranteed.

Now signed through 2030, the 26-year-old said he's motivated to show he deserves that deal.

"I want to prove it. It's a blessing I can say, but we don't play on paper. And no one cares what's in the bank account when you step between the lines," he added.

Brown claimed a second-team All-Pro nod in both of his seasons with the Eagles, who acquired him during a 2022 trade with the Tennessee Titans. The four-time 1,000-yard receiver has caught 194 passes for 2,952 yards and 18 touchdowns in 34 appearances with Philadelphia.

In addition to Brown, the Eagles recently gave wideout DeVonta Smith a three-year, $75-million extension, keeping one of the NFL's premier duos of wide receivers together for the foreseeable future.

"The sky's the limit," Brown said Tuesday when asked about him and Smith both signing long-term contracts, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.com.

Smith - a first-round pick in 2021 - topped 1,000 yards in each of the last two seasons.

With Brown and Smith, the Eagles are one of only two NFL teams that roster two players in the top 15 for catches and receiving yards since 2021.
