Report: Zay Jones signing with Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals are signing wide receiver Zay Jones, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
The Cardinals will give Jones a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, reports Rapoport.
Jones spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played just nine games last year, hauling in 34 receptions for 321 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jones set career highs in 2022 with 82 receptions and 823 yards.
The 29-year-old reportedly visited with the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys before joining Arizona.
Jones will join a Cardinals wide receiver room that consists of Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, and Greg Dortch, among others. Tight end Trey McBride is also expected to be featured in the passing game after a breakout season in 2023.
Jones has 3,028 yards and 18 touchdowns on 287 receptions since being drafted in the second round in 2017.
