Giants to appear on offseason edition of 'Hard Knocks'
The New York Giants will be featured on HBO Max's offseason version of "Hard Knocks," debuting on July 2.
This is a new addition to the "Hard Knocks" brand and will run ahead of the traditional training camp series.
The five-part series will chronicle the Giants' offseason, which included letting running back Saquon Barkley depart in free agency, trading for Carolina Panthers pass-rusher Brian Burns, and drafting wide receiver Malik Nabers sixth overall.
Other free-agency moves the series could feature include allowing Xavier McKinney to walk, adding quarterback Drew Lock, and re-signing linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
New York also made a substantial coaching addition, adding defensive coordinator Shane Bowen.
HBO began recording footage in January and will continue through July as the Giants prepare to celebrate their 100th season.
