Taylor: Peterson wasn't a factor
Cleveland Browns nose tackle Phil Taylor didn't think Adrian Peterson's tweet yesterday was cute.
“He can say what he wants, but he wasn’t a factor in the game," Taylor told the Akron Beacon Journal. "He had less than 100 yards. The only reason they really scored, they got the ball on the 9, they got the ball on the 26, other than that, it wasn’t really a big game [for their offense].”
The Browns held Peterson to 88 yards on 25 carries (3.5 yards per carry, his lowest output of the season) during Sunday's 31-27 week three win over the Minnesota Vikings.
I think we're all losing sight of who Taylor's real enemy is here: Adrian Peterson's daughter. She was the one spitting hot fire.
