New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is confident he'll be good to go for Week 1 after suffering a low ankle sprain in practice.

"No doubt," Nabers said when asked if he'll be available, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN. "It wasn't that bad of an injury ... I'm just making sure I'm fine."

Head coach Brian Daboll said the club ran tests on the ailment and confirmed there was no serious damage. Nabers also added that he felt good when doing light jogging before practice Tuesday.

Nabers suffered the injury during Sunday's practice. He limped off the field and didn't return. Nabers was seen on the sideline moving "very slowly."

"As a football player, you always think the worst of anything if you're not able to play," he told reporters. "To hear the good news come back saying that it was really nothing, that it was just going to take rehab and time, that was great to hear."

New York selected the former LSU star No. 6 overall in this year's draft. Nabers was a monster for the Tigers in 2023, totaling 89 catches for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Giants kick off their season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 8.
