Chiefs sign Smith-Schuster
The Kansas City Chiefs signed free-agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, the club announced Monday.
Smith-Schuster spent the 2022 season with the Chiefs before joining the New England Patriots in 2023. The Patriots released the wideout earlier this offseason.
The 27-year-old struggled during his lone season in New England, posting 260 yards and one touchdown on 29 receptions in 11 games.
Smith-Schuster was an important contributor to the Chiefs' 2022 team, tallying 78 receptions for 933 yards and three scores. He caught another 10 passes for 89 yards during the club's playoff run en route to winning Super Bowl LVII.
The USC product has totaled 5,048 yards and 30 touchdowns on 430 receptions in 90 career games with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chiefs, and Patriots.
