Report: Jaguars' Oluokun to miss several weeks with plantar fasciitis
Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Foyesade Oluokun is expected to be sidelined for several weeks with plantar fasciitis, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Oluokun won't require surgery, Pelissero adds. He was injured in Monday night's 47-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
The loss of the 29-year-old linebacker will be a big blow for a Jaguars defense that's allowing 28.3 points per game, 28th worst in the NFL.
Oluokun recorded over 170 tackles in each of his previous two seasons with the Jaguars, including a league-high 184 tackles in 2022. He notched 173 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception last campaign.
Oluokun has compiled 22 tackles and a sack through three games in 2024.
The Jaguars are searching for their first victory of the season after an 0-3 start.
