Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb feels he let his team down with his performance and antics in Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

"I expect a lot out of myself, more than anyone could put on me," Lamb said Tuesday, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. "And, quite honestly, I failed myself. And obviously, I failed the team just as far as producing and being that game-breaker player for the team and, obviously, the guy that they can lean on."

Lamb was caught having an animated conversation with quarterback Dak Prescott and turned the ball over with a fumble in the red zone during the contest. He reflected that his play and poor body language was not what the Cowboys needed.

"Honestly, I got to be truthful to myself, and I played a part in that loss, a big part honestly, and nor did my body language nor attitude, approaching the situation help the situation or the outcome of the game," Lamb said, according to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.

Lamb downplayed any cause for concerns about his connection with Prescott, noting that the relationship between them has gotten "stronger."

"Don't let what's out there fool you," Lamb explained, per Archer. "We're brothers to the end. We know that we all we got, and I tip my hat off to him. I got the utmost respect for him, and I look at him as a brother."

The 25-year-old, who signed a four-year, $136-million extension this offseason, promised to "be better" moving forward.

"I know that's not the player I am. I know that's not the teammate I am," Lamb said, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota. "It was a bad game on my end. I fully take accountability in that."
