Giants' Nabers won't play on SNF after failing to clear protocol
New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll announced Friday that wide receiver Malik Nabers won't play Sunday night versus the Cincinnati Bengals after being unable to clear concussion protocol.
Nabers missed last weekend's victory over the Seattle Seahawks and hasn't practiced for a second straight week.
The 21-year-old hurt himself in Week 4 after landing awkwardly trying to haul in a pass along the sideline.

He remained down for several minutes before trainers escorted him to the locker room.
Nabers attended a Travis Scott concert Thursday night, but Daboll said his attendance at the show didn't violate any rules.
"Yeah, I'll keep that all in house," Daboll said, per SNY.
The Giants played their best game of the season on offense last week, racking up 420 yards with 24 first downs. Wide receiver Darius Slayton led the team in targets (11), receptions (eight), and yards (122) in Nabers' absence.
Despite missing Week 5, Nabers still leads the NFL in receptions with 35 while totaling 386 yards and three touchdowns. New York selected the LSU product sixth overall in the 2024 draft.
