The Denver Broncos announced Wednesday they ruled out star cornerback Pat Surtain for Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Saints due to a concussion.
Surtain hasn't participated in a practice since suffering the injury during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The two-time Pro Bowler has two interceptions, including a pick-6, this season. Both interceptions came in a Week 5 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Broncos enter Thursday's contest with a 3-3 record, though their defense ranks fourth in points surrendered (16 per game). They're also fourth in yardage allowed.
