New York Giants running back Devin Singletary will return to the field Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Brian Daboll said Friday, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.

Singletary has missed the club's last two contests with a groin injury.

The 27-year-old will share some of the workload with Tyrone Tracy and Eric Gray, Daboll added. Tracy will see significant snaps after leading the Giants' backfield with 179 rushing yards, 58 receiving yards, and one touchdown in Singletary's absence.

"(Tracy's) earned it," Daboll said. "He's done a good job. So he'll get plenty of playing time."

Singletary leads the team with 221 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in four games. Tracy has posted 208 yards across six appearances.

The Eagles' defense has allowed 341.4 total yards, 123 rushing yards, and 22.4 points per game across their first five games.
