The New York Jets and Haason Reddick reached an agreement on an adjusted contract to end the edge rusher's holdout, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Reddick will report to the team Monday, Schefter adds.

New York will waive over $12 million in fines that Reddick received during his holdout, per Schefter. Rosenhaus said the sides will continue to work toward a long-term extension for the pass-rusher.

The Jets acquired Reddick for a conditional third-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles in March. He had been holding out since minicamp and requested a trade from New York in August.

Owner Woody Johnson was "very involved" in the recent negotiations to get Reddick to report to the team, per Schefter. Johnson pleaded for Reddick to end his holdout during a press conference after firing head coach Robert Saleh earlier in October.

Reddick's former agency, CAA, parted ways with him after he refused to take an adjusted one-year deal with the club. Despite Johnson wanting to keep the disgruntled edge rusher in New York, the Jets reportedly gave his new agent a short window to seek a trade last week.

The 30-year-old spent the previous two seasons in Philadelphia after signing a three-year, $45-million contract with the club in 2022. He has 27 sacks and five forced fumbles over his last 34 contests.

New York faces the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.
