Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster won't play in the club's Week 8 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a hamstring injury, head coach Andy Reid said Monday.

Smith-Schuster left Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers after re-aggravating the injury. He was listed as questionable leading up to the contest.

The 27-year-old was coming off a terrific Week 5 performance in which he racked up seven catches on eight targets for 130 yards. His 16.3 yards per reception leads all Chiefs pass-catchers through six games.

Smith-Schuster signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs in August after the New England Patriots released him.
