The Los Angeles Rams have designated wide receiver Puka Nacua to return from injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday.

Nacua, who re-aggravated a knee injury sustained in the preseason during the Rams' season opener against the Detroit Lions, will return to practice on Tuesday. The move will open the 21-day window for L.A. to activate the second-year receiver off the reserve list.

The BYU product emerged as a breakout star during his rookie campaign in 2023. He set an NFL rookie record with 105 receptions and 1,486 yards to go along with six touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl nod for his efforts.

Nacua's return to the practice field arrives as the Rams are reportedly shopping fellow wideout Cooper Kupp in a potential trade. The Rams' receiving corps has been without its top two wideouts for over a month. Kupp is expected to make his return Thursday when the Rams host the Minnesota Vikings.
