Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is expected to miss three games and return following the team's Week 11 bye, head coach Todd Bowles said Tuesday, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN.

Evans aggravated a hamstring injury while trying to make a catch in the end zone in the first half of Monday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Bowles added that the injury is in the same leg Evans had issues with in the past but in a different spot of his hamstring.

"Hurting pretty good," the coach said.

A five-time Pro Bowler, Evans claimed a second-team All-Pro berth after leading the NFL with 13 touchdown receptions in 2023. The 31-year-old picked up where he left off in 2024, as he caught a league-high six TDs through this season's first seven weeks.

The Bucs lost their two top pass-catchers against the Ravens. In addition to Evans, Chris Godwin went down with an ankle injury that will likely require season-ending surgery.

With Evans and Godwin sidelined, rookie Jalen McMillan and veteran Sterling Shepard are projected to headline the Bucs' wide receiver depth chart.

Tampa Bay plays the Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Francisco 49ers before going on a bye. The Buccaneers could welcome Evans back in their Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants.
