Report: Love expected to start vs. Lions
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to start Sunday's matchup against the Detroit Lions despite dealing with a groin injury, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Love was listed as questionable Friday for the Week 9 matchup. He was a limited participant in practice Friday and Thursday after missing Wednesday's session.
The quarterback suffered the injury in last week's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also previously missed time earlier this season, sitting out two games due to a knee ailment.
Love has thrown 15 touchdowns and has a 4-2 record as a starter this season. However, despite only playing six games, his nine interceptions are tied for most in the NFL.
The Packers enter their divisional bout with the Lions with a 6-2 mark after winning four in a row.
