The Las Vegas Raiders announced Monday that they fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy midway through his first season with the team.

The Raiders also dismissed offensive line coach James Cregg and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello, who joined the club in 2024.

Getsy's tenure in Las Vegas lasted only nine games. The 40-year-old, who spent the previous two seasons with the Chicago Bears, joined the Raiders in February as part of Antonio Pierce's coaching staff. However, the team's offense has struggled this season.

The Raiders rank 31st in total EPA while posting a 2-7 record. Pierce's decision to move on from his offensive coordinator comes after Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Raiders' fifth consecutive defeat.

It's unclear who'll replace Getsy for the remainder of the season, but pass game coordinator Scott Turner - a former OC with the Washington Commanders - is a logical candidate to take over as the Raiders' play-caller, notes NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

This is the second major offensive change for the Raiders, who also switched QBs earlier this campaign. After Gardner Minshew started the first five games for Las Vegas, the club decided to turn to Aidan O'Connell instead. However, O'Connell sustained a thumb injury in his second start in Week 7, forcing Pierce to go back to Minshew.

The Raiders have a bye next before taking on the Miami Dolphins in Week 11.
