Commanders' Robinson to miss 2nd straight game with hamstring injury
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a hamstring injury, the team announced Friday.
Robinson, 25, has now missed two straight games with the ailment. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but didn't practice Friday.
Robinson was a game-time decision in Washington's Week 9 victory over the New York Giants but didn't play after participating in the pregame workout. He previously missed Week 6 with a knee injury.
Robinson has had a successful first half of the season. He leads the Commanders with six rushing touchdowns and 461 rushing yards. Veteran running back Austin Ekeler will look to make his second straight start after registering one touchdown and 42 rushing yards versus the Giants.
