Bills' Cooper hoping to return vs. Chiefs

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper is hopeful he can return for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, he told reporters including ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg.

"Definitely feeling better. Definitely more comfortable," Cooper said Thursday. "So, just ready to play football again."

Cooper injured his wrist Oct. 27 when the Bills played the Seattle Seahawks. He missed Buffalo's next two wins over the Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts. Cooper was limited in practice for the past two days and is currently wearing a cast.

The wide receiver said he'll be playing with the cast and needs to "get used to catching the ball with it."

Cooper was traded to Buffalo from the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 15 and made his team debut against the Tennessee Titans five days later. Cooper had four receptions for 66 yards and scored his first touchdown with the squad in a 34-10 thrashing.

The 8-2 Bills will look to give the Chiefs their first loss Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
