Report: Saints' Hill suffered season-ending knee injury vs. Rams
Tests on Monday confirmed that New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The veteran has a torn ACL and additional damage in his knee, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Hill was carted off the field in the fourth quarter after taking a low hit on a fourth-down carry. He finished the contest with 10 touches for 47 yards.
The 34-year-old had his best game two weeks ago when he racked up 188 total yards and three touchdowns in a victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Hill is known for playing all over the Saints' offense, as he took snaps at quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, and running back this campaign.
Foster Moreau, Juwan Johnson, and Dallin Holker are other tight ends on New Orleans' roster.
