New York Giants backup quarterback Tommy DeVito is expected to start against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, head coach Brian Daboll told reporters Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

DeVito takes over for Drew Lock, who sustained a heel injury and is currently in a walking boot. Daboll told reporters Monday that Lock would undergo an MRI but didn't specify what body part was being examined. Lock said he had "a couple bumps and bruises" after the team's loss to the New Orleans Saints, per The Athletic's Charlotte Caroll.

Lock's played in five games for the Giants this season and started the last two, throwing for 414 yards and rushing for one touchdown.

After the team released Daniel Jones in late November, DeVito started one game: a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which he sustained a forearm injury. He threw for 189 yards and no touchdowns.

The Giants are 0-3 since Jones' exit and 2-11 on the season. They play the Ravens on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
