The Arizona Cardinals are signing safety Budda Baker to a three-year extension, the team announced Tuesday.
It's a three-year, $54-million deal with $30 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Baker is enjoying a stellar season, leading the NFL in solo tackles with 88. He's also racked up 142 total tackles with two sacks and three passes defended.
The 28-year-old was set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season. He was in the final year of the four-year extension he signed in 2020.
Arizona selected Baker in the second round of the 2017 draft. The two-time first-team All-Pro has 879 tackles, seven interceptions, and six forced fumbles in 119 career games.
