Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is doubtful to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers because of a knee injury, head coach Mike McDaniel announced Friday, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.
Waddle sustained the injury in last week's loss to the Houston Texans.
The fourth-year wide receiver is third on the Dolphins in receiving yards with 700. He trails tight end Jonnu Smith (740) and Tyreek Hill (805).
Waddle's production has cratered this season with his 3.9 receptions per game and 50 yards per game ranking as career lows.
The Dolphins are 6-8 and at risk of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
