Seahawks' Walker on track to return vs. Vikings after 2-game absence
The Seattle Seahawks are set to get back Kenneth Walker for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after he was left off the injury report Friday.
The running back missed the past two games with a calf injury.
The Seahawks will also have quarterback Geno Smith. The veteran injured his knee in last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers but was also left off the injury report. Smith said Thursday that he'll be less than 100%.
Walker has rushed for 542 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season while also adding 271 yards and one score as a receiving threat.
Running back Zach Charbonnet has also had a productive season in the backfield, producing 454 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.
Seattle had its four-game winning streak snapped by Green Bay. The Seahawks are 8-6 and second in the NFC West behind the 8-6 Los Angeles Rams because of a tiebreaker.
