Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler will be activated off injured reserve and play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Ekeler was placed on IR Nov. 24 with a concussion he sustained in Washington's first matchup against the Cowboys. He had previously been sidelined for one game this year with a separate concussion from Sept. 23 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The veteran running back signed a two-year contract with the Commanders in March 2024 after spending his entire career to that point with the Los Angeles Chargers. He has 355 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games played this season.
