Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is expected to be available for the team's divisional-round matchup, head coach Dan Campbell told reporters Tuesday, including team reporter Tim Twentyman.
Montgomery missed the Lions' last three games with a knee injury.
The 27-year-old tallied 775 yards and 12 touchdowns on 185 carries this season. He also recorded 36 receptions for 341 yards.
Craig Reynolds earned extra snaps behind lead back Jahmyr Gibbs in Montgomery's absence, but Reynolds is expected to revert to a depth role when the Iowa State product returns.
The Lions captured the NFC's top seed by defeating the Minnesota Vikings in their regular-season finale and will host the conference's lowest remaining seed after the wild-card round.
