The Las Vegas Raiders will interview former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll next week for their vacant head coach position, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It will be Carroll's second interview this cycle after he spoke to the Chicago Bears about their coaching job Thursday.

In addition to Carroll, the Raiders have also been linked to former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, and Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken.

The Raiders joined the coaching hunt after firing Antonio Pierce on Tuesday following a 4-13 season in 2024, his only year as Las Vegas' full-time head coach. Pierce was 5-4 as the interim head coach in 2023. General manager Tom Telesco was dismissed Thursday.

Carroll spent the past season out of the NFL after being let go by the Seahawks following the conclusion of the 2023 campaign. He led Seattle to its first Super Bowl victory and produced a 137-89-1 record over 14 seasons with the franchise.

Raiders limited owner Tom Brady is reportedly expected to be part of the committee that interviews Las Vegas' head coaching candidates.
