Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans might not be done with football when he retires from the NFL.

"This is good practice for me in the Olympics," Evans said at Pro Bowl practices, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN. "Most likely I'll be retired by 2028. How many years is that? Three years? I don't know. But if I am retired, I would definitely like to play in the Olympics."

The 31-year-old would be a month away from turning 35 years old when the Olympics kick off in Los Angeles. Both men's and women's flag football will debut at the 2028 Games.

Evans was named a Pro Bowl alternate after posting 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns on 74 receptions this season. The berth marks the sixth time he's been selected for the All-Star event. He's also been named a second-team All-Pro twice (2016, 2023).

The 6-foot-5, 231-pounder has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in all 11 of his seasons. That mark is the NFL's all-time record for consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns to start a career and is tied with Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for the most times in a career overall. He's also the active leader in receiving touchdowns with 105.

The Pro Bowl Games Championship, which includes a flag football game, starts Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
