Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday.

Hyde spent four seasons with the Green Bay Packers after being selected in the fifth round of the 2013 draft. He joined the Bills as a free agent ahead of the 2017 campaign and spent the rest of his career with Buffalo.

The Bills thanked Hyde for his eight seasons with the team with a tribute video.

Hyde signed to the club's practice squad in December but didn't appear in any contests this year.

The 34-year-old tallied 644 total tackles, 24 interceptions, 66 pass deflections, five forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries, and five sacks in 158 career games. The Iowa product made the Pro Bowl in 2017 and was named a second-team All-Pro in 2017 and 2021.
