Saquon Barkley was feeling the love from his old team after capturing the first Super Bowl championship of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Barkley revealed on Tuesday's episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that a lot of people from the New York Giants organization reached out to congratulate him on the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Yeah, I mean, you know, that clip doesn't really display my relationship I have with that organization from top to bottom. They're the people that brought me in," the running back responded after being shown the viral "Hard Knocks" clip of Giants co-owner John Mara saying he'd "have a tough time sleeping" if Barkley joined the Eagles.

"But after the game, so many guys and people from that organization reached out to me and were super happy. One, for my birthday and see me hold that Lombardi Trophy up, 'cause they know the hard work that I put in. That clip is in the past, and I'm happy to be an Eagle. I look at it as like Marshall Faulk, who's one of my favorite running backs. He played for the Colts, but he's remembered as a Ram. So now, I'm just trying to be remembered as an Eagle."

Barkley spent the first six seasons of his career with the Giants before joining the Eagles in March 2024 as a free agent.

The 28-year-old finished with 57 rushing yards on 25 carries in Super Bowl LIX, setting a new record for the most rushing yards in a season, including the playoffs, with 2,504 yards.
