Report: Eagles open to trading Goedert, Huff
The Philadelphia Eagles are open to trade talks involving tight end Dallas Goedert and pass-rusher Bryce Huff, sources told Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.
Goedert, 30, has been a key member of the Eagles' offense in recent years but is entering the final season of a four-year, $57-million extension he signed in 2021. Goedert caught 42 passes for 496 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games during the 2024 regular season before recording 17 receptions in four playoff contests to help Philadelphia win the Super Bowl.
The 2018 second-round pick has amassed 4,085 yards and 24 TDs on 349 career receptions with Philly. The Eagles also roster tight ends Grant Calcaterra and Harrison Bryant, who signed with the team Thursday, among others.
Huff is reportedly on the trade block after a disappointing season. The 26-year-old signed a three-year, $51.1-million deal with the Eagles in 2024 but played only 27% of the team's defensive snaps this past campaign and was a healthy scratch in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Huff finished his first year in Philadelphia with 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble following a 10-sack season with the New York Jets in 2023.
Nolan Smith headlines the Eagles' rotation of edge rushers, which also features Jalyx Hunt and Joshua Uche, who joined in free agency this year. Josh Sweat, who led the team with eight sacks in '24, recently signed a four-year, $76-million contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
