Report: Shedeur Sanders won't throw at NFL combine
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders won't throw at the scouting combine, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Sanders will instead use the event to focus on his interviews with NFL teams, per Rapoport.
The passer will reportedly throw at his pro day with four draftable Colorado wideouts.
Either Sanders or Miami's Cam Ward is expected to be the first quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It's uncertain whether Ward will throw at the combine, but Ole Miss passer Jaxson Dart, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, and Notre Dame signal-caller Riley Leonard will throw, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Sanders completed 74% of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in his final season at Colorado in 2024.
The Tennessee Titans hold the first overall pick in the upcoming draft, with the Cleveland Browns holding the second selection and New York Giants rounding out the top three.
The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine runs from Feb. 27 through March 2.
