Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter continues making his case to play full time on both offense and defense in the NFL ahead of the 2025 draft.

"They say nobody has ever done it the way I do it. But I tell them, 'I'm just different. I'm a different person,'" Hunter told reporters at the scouting combine Thursday, via TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt.

Hunter added, "I know I can do it. I did it at the college level (where) we rarely get breaks, and there's a lot more breaks in the NFL."

Hunter, who played wide receiver and cornerback at Colorado, is among the top prospects in the NFL draft after logging 1,484 total snaps on offense and defense in his final collegiate season.

"That's not my job to figure it out. I'd like to play both sides of the ball. If they give me the opportunity ... I'm going to play both sides," Hunter said.

Colorado's two-way star won't work out at the NFL combine, a league official said, according to the Denver Gazette's Chris Tomasson.

Hunter, 21, recorded 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding four interceptions. He took home the Fred Biletnikoff Award (recognizing the best wide receiver) and Chuck Bednarik Award (for best defensive player) along with the Heisman after his unprecedented 2024 campaign.

He said it's "super important" to him to be drafted first overall, according to Wyatt.

"That's one of my dreams, to go No. 1 and be the best that I can be," Hunter added.

The Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns, who hold the first two picks in the draft, are split regarding what position Hunter will initially play to begin his pro career.
