Cowboys signing Odighizuwa to 4-year, $80M deal
The Dallas Cowboys are signing defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to a four-year, $80-million contract with $58 million guaranteed, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Dallas reportedly would have used the franchise tag on Odighizuwa if the two sides couldn't agree on a long-term extension before Tuesday's deadline.
The 26-year-old has been with the Cowboys since they selected him in the third round of the 2021 draft. He's started every regular-season game over the last three seasons.
Odighizuwa had a stellar 2024 campaign, posting career highs in tackles (47), quarterback hits (23), sacks (4.5), and pressures (60). He also played 77.9% of Dallas' defensive snaps.
The Cowboys have locked up Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Odighizuwa to long-term, big-money deals over the last calendar year. Star edge rusher Micah Parsons is the next player in line for an extension.
