The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed linebacker Nick Bolton, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Bolton's deal is worth $45 million over three years with $30 million guaranteed, Rapoport added. He was going to be one of the top linebackers available in free agency.
Bolton had been signed to a 4-year, $5.8-million rookie contract. The Chiefs picked up the Missouri-product in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The 24-year-old started every game for the Chiefs last season, recording three sacks and 106 tackles. Bolton has registered more than 100 tackles in three of his four NFL campaigns and 31 tackles in three Super Bowl appearances.
