Former Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher DeMarcus Lawrence is signing a three-year, $42-million contract with the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The contract reportedly includes $18 million guaranteed.

Lawrence spent his first 11 NFL seasons in Dallas. He's a four-time Pro Bowler with 61.5 career sacks. Lawrence made the lone All-Pro team of his career in 2017 as a second-team selection when he notched a career-high 14.5 sacks.

The 32-year-old tallied three sacks in the first four games of 2024 before suffering a foot injury. He missed the rest of the season.

Lawrence joins a Seahawks defensive line highlighted by Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy II, and Jarran Reed. Seattle reportedly re-signed Reed to a three-year deal worth up to $25 million earlier in March.

Lawrence was a force off the edge in Dallas throughout his tenure. He formed a potent tandem in recent years with superstar Micah Parsons, who's set to enter the final season of his contract with the Cowboys.

Despite losing Lawrence, Dallas has invested in its defensive line this offseason. The Cowboys re-signed defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to a four-year, $80-million deal after initially placing the franchise tag on him. Dallas also reportedly signed free agents Payton Turner and Solomon Thomas while retaining Tyrus Wheat.

The Cowboys continued to add to their defense with two trades Wednesday, landing linebacker Kenneth Murray and defensive back Kaiir Elam.
