The Minnesota Vikings have released center Garrett Bradbury, the team announced Monday.

The move comes with a post-June 1 designation to spread the cap hit, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The transaction saves $5.25 million in cap space this year, according to Over The Cap.

The Vikings attempted to trade the veteran after acquiring Ryan Kelly last week. The 29-year-old spent six seasons in Minnesota after the team selected him in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Bradbury started in each of the 88 games he played for the Vikings, helping them make the playoffs three times.
