Report: Browns fielding trade calls for 1st pick of 2nd round
The first pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft is a hot commodity.
The Cleveland Browns have fielded trade calls for the No. 33 selection, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
Several teams have contacted Cleveland about a deal, sources told Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports. The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans - who own picks No. 34 and No. 35, respectively - have reportedly also received calls from teams interested in moving up.
Cleveland is presumably looking to add offensive weapons on Day 2 after using a top-five pick on defensive lineman Mason Graham on Thursday. The Browns originally owned the second overall selection and were expected to select two-way phenom Travis Hunter. However, the team traded that pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a package that included an extra first-round choice next year.
The Browns' main needs offensively are quarterback, running back, and wide receiver. Cleveland currently holds four more picks in the top 100 on Friday, including the 33rd and 36th overall selections.
Several top prospects remain available, including quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders and Jalen Milroe, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and wideout Luther Burden III.
