Veteran running back J.K. Dobbins is visiting the Denver Broncos on Thursday, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Dobbins will reportedly land Wednesday in Denver to have dinner with coaches.
The 26-year-old spent the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Chargers, rushing for 905 yards (4.6 per carry) and nine touchdowns in 14 games. He finished second behind only Joe Burrow in the race for the Comeback Player of the Year award. Dobbins enjoyed a strong performance versus the Broncos last year, posting 96 yards and one TD on the ground.
Major injuries have been an issue for Dobbins in the NFL. The former second-round pick tore an ACL during the 2021 preseason and tore an Achilles in 2023. He's appeared in 37 games since being drafted in 2020.
The running back position was a priority for the Broncos this offseason. Denver used its second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft on tailback RJ Harvey, who could start this year. The team's RB depth chart also features Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin, among others.
