Latest updates:
- ⬆️ Anthony Richardson: The former No. 4 overall pick is back in action at training camp after missing spring work with another shoulder issue. It's still early, but reports from the Colts beat suggest he's making a strong impression with improved accuracy. That should be more than enough to give him a leg up on Daniel Jones in an open competition. Even if he's still working through some inconsistencies as a passer by the time we get to Week 1, the opportunity alone should have your attention. Richardson's dual-threat skill-set allows for true starter upside in fantasy. He'll be moving even further up this list if and when he officially secures the starting job.
- ⬇️ Matthew Stafford: There's plenty of reason to like the Rams QB in 2025, with Davante Adams now joining Puka Nacua in forming one of the league's premier receiver tandems. But Stafford is still yet to practice to this point in camp due to a back injury. Sean McVay has indicated that he's being evaluated on a week-to-week basis. While there's still time for him to get healthy before Week 1, this early issue is a reminder of the risk in gambling on a 37-year-old QB in fantasy.
- ⬇️ Jayden Daniels: The Commanders quarterback dropping one spot is ultimately a pretty negligible move. But it's not without reason. Terry McLaurin's holdout has now escalated to the point where the star receiver is requesting a trade. Does that mean he's played his last snap in Washington? Not necessarily. But this move, sparked by a lack of progress in contract talks, suddenly opens the door for that possibility. The Commanders would have one of the least inspiring receiving corps in football without McLaurin leading the way. Our projections for Daniels' fantasy outlook take a small hit until this situation is resolved.
