Report: Patriots' Diggs fully cleared to participate in camp
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is fully cleared to participate in training camp, reports The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
The Patriots will monitor Diggs' reps early in camp, adds Russini.
Diggs sustained a torn ACL in October and was limited to eight games with the Houston Texans last season. He nabbed 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns in his only campaign with Houston.
The 31-year-old signed a three-year, $69-million contract with the Patriots in March as a free agent. The 31-year-old attended the team's voluntary workouts in June.
Diggs has amassed 10,491 receiving yards and 70 touchdowns on 857 receptions in his 10-season career with the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, and Texans.
New England opens the season Sept. 7 versus the Las Vegas Raiders.
