The Los Angeles Chargers signed veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Allen's deal is worth $8.52 million, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

The pact marks a return to the West Coast for Allen, who played his first 11 seasons with the Chargers before joining the Chicago Bears last year. The 33-year-old caught 70 passes for 744 yards with the NFC North club in 2024.

Drafted in 2013 by the Chargers, Allen ranks second in franchise history to Hall of Famer Antonio Gates in receptions (904) and receiving yards (10,530). He's also caught 24 touchdown passes from Justin Herbert, more than any other receiver in Herbert's career.

Allen joins a wide receiver room that includes 2024 rookie standout Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and 2025 draft picks Tre' Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith.

Los Angeles opens its regular season against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
