Report: Commanders shopping Robinson
The Washington Commanders have been shopping running back Brian Robinson Jr. to teams around the NFL, sources told NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Robinson is entering the last year of his rookie contract. The 2022 third-round pick has topped 700 rushing yards in each of his first three NFL seasons and had a career-high eight touchdown runs in 2025 while averaging 4.3 yards per carry to go along with 20 receptions.
Robinson previously topped 1,000 scrimmage yards in 2023. However, he's battled multiple injuries and has yet to play a full season since being drafted out of Alabama.
The Commanders also roster running backs Austin Ekeler and seventh-round rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, among others. Croskey-Merritt has stood out in his first training camp in Washington.
