New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields cleared the concussion protocol and will play Monday night against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Aaron Glenn announced Saturday, according to Connor Hughes of SNY.
Fields sustained the concussion in a Week 2 home loss to the Buffalo Bills and missed last week's 29-27 road defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tyrod Taylor started in his place and threw two touchdowns and one interception.
Fields got off to a hot start with the Jets in Week 1, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for two. However, New York still lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Both the Jets and Dolphins enter Monday night's matchup with 0-3 records.
