Former NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has had enough of MetLife Stadium's artificial turf after watching New York Giants sophomore Malik Nabers suffer a torn ACL at the venue Sunday.

Beckham pleaded with the NFL to "get rid of the turf," labeling the stadium "DeathLife" due to its history of players suffering serious injuries on its playing surface. He also called out the league for what he perceives as hypocrisy when it comes to the health and safety of its players.

Beckham has his own experience with the horrors of MetLife Stadium, suffering a fractured ankle on the field during a 2017 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Beckham isn't alone, as numerous high-profile players have sustained knee or Achilles injuries at the home of the Giants and New York Jets.

MetLife Stadium started using FieldTurf in 2023 due to criticism of its previous playing surface being unsafe.
