Report: Bills making calls on WRs ahead of trade deadline
The Buffalo Bills are making calls on wide receivers ahead of the NFL's trade deadline on Nov. 4, sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Buffalo was one of the teams that contacted the New Orleans Saints about two-time 1,000-yard wideout Chris Olave, according to Russini. However, the Saints are reportedly expected to keep their leading pass-catcher.
The Bills are apparently also interested in disgruntled Las Vegas Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers, who recently reiterated his desire to be traded.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who are also looking for a new receiver, called the Raiders about Meyers, but Las Vegas has set a high price for the 28-year-old, Russini reports.
The Saints' second-leading receiver, Rashid Shaheed, is widely believed to be available for a trade, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
Khalil Shakir leads the Bills with 31 catches, 356 yards, and three touchdown receptions in 2025. He's the team's only wideout with at least 300 receiving yards. Buffalo also rosters wide receivers Keon Coleman and Josh Palmer, among others.
