Joe Burrow affirmed Tuesday that he's content to be with the Cincinnati Bengals, downplaying speculation about his long-term plans following the quarterback's eye-catching remarks in 2025.

Questions about Burrow's future became a hot topic in a disappointing season for the Bengals, who missed the playoffs for the third straight year. On Dec. 10, the 29-year-old emphasized that having fun was his top priority. A week later, he didn't rule out the possibility of eventually switching teams later in his career.

Burrow seemingly shut down those rumors Tuesday.

"Yeah, I am," Burrow said at the Pro Bowl Games when asked if he's happy in Cincinnati.

"Everybody has bad days, right? Sometimes, they fall on press conference days. That's how it goes sometimes."

Burrow has established himself as one of the NFL's best quarterbacks since Cincinnati drafted him first overall in 2020. He's averaged 4,594 yards and 35 touchdowns with a 68.5% completion rate per 17 games played.

With Burrow under center, the Bengals reached the AFC title game twice and made a Super Bowl appearance during the 2021 and '22 seasons. However, they haven't returned to the playoffs since, and the team has struggled to build a competitive defense.

Injuries have also forced Burrow to miss 16 games in the past three seasons.
